Offing a large selection of MX/ATV apparel, gear, and parts they also sell dune flags. With mounting hardware for most vehicles, they even graciously loaned tools for mounting our flag in their parking lot for our first venture onto the dunes in our own Jeep many years ago®.
  • Silver Lake Sand Dunes Area Chamber of Commerce - The one-stop shop for the calendar of local events in and around the Silver Lake Sand Dunes Area. California:

  • Imperial Sand Dunes Recreation Area - U.S. Department of the Intior, Bureau of Land Management information regarding the large 40-mile by 5-mile band of dunes some of you are fortunate to call your sandbox.
  • www.GlamisDunes.com - An impressively-designed website with very cool opening music and fantastic photographs making it audio-visually mesmerizing for any duner. It appears to be a good place to explore and learn about those big Glamis dunes about which Midwesterners dream of visiting.

General Sand and Dune Resources:

  • Sand Sports Magazine - This is THE magazine to which you must subscribe if you love dune sports. The staff are dedicated enthusiasts and the sand-flying photographs emblazoned in glossy glory across its pages will have you drooling before you begin to read it.
  • Sand Sports Directory - After seeing this comprehensive list of sand sports links, we have to ask ourselves, why bother listing any here? This appears to be THE list of links so if you can't find it here, it honestly may not exist. Just take a look and see what we mean.

Not Sand, Not Dune - Just Helpful Nerdy Resources:

  • Free Website Templates - The genesis for our website began as a free template from these ingenious folks. We're very grateful for them sharing their clear talents openly with the public. Check out their templates, forums, and their links offering free flash websites.
